About the role
Deliver individualised nutrition assessment and support for patients seeking help with weight management, long-term conditions and everyday dietary concerns. Work alongside medical and nursing colleagues to develop achievable plans and review progress.
What you’ll do
- Assess dietary intake, health history, goals and relevant clinical information.
- Develop evidence-based nutrition care plans that reflect culture, budget, preferences and clinical needs.
- Provide counselling and behaviour-change support with clear, achievable goals.
- Review progress through follow-up appointments, programmes and agreed care pathways.
- Identify needs outside your scope and refer or coordinate with appropriate clinicians.
- Document assessments and outcomes and contribute to patient education resources.
What you’ll bring
- Recognised qualification in dietetics and current registration or professional authorisation where required.
- Relevant clinical dietetic experience and evidence-based assessment skills.
- Ability to support nutrition-related long-term conditions within your competence.
- Empathetic counselling skills and a respectful approach to weight and food.
- Strong digital documentation, confidentiality and multidisciplinary working skills.
Helpful additional experience
- Experience in weight management, diabetes or gastrointestinal nutrition.
- Experience delivering remote consultations or structured nutrition programmes.
Working arrangements
Medocta is preparing for launch and developing its multidisciplinary clinical services. Digital consultations and follow-up are central to our approach. The country of practice, remote or in-person requirements, hours, engagement type, start date and remuneration will be discussed during recruitment and confirmed before appointment.
