Statement revised:
Get help with your next step
Choose the help you need. You can contact us for yourself or explain your role if you are helping someone else. Tell us what would make the task or service easier for you.
Using the website
Start with your browser or device’s usual accessibility settings. These tips can help with common tasks; contact us if a step still blocks you.
Move around with a keyboard
Use Tab to move to the next link or control and Shift + Tab to move back. Enter opens links; Space activates buttons or checkboxes. For a browser or device-specific control, use its keyboard guidance.
Make text easier to read
Use your browser's Zoom menu to enlarge text and controls, or your device's text-size and display settings. If content overlaps, disappears or becomes difficult to use at your preferred size, tell us the page and the task involved.
Use a screen reader or speech tools
Your assistive technology can use headings, links and form labels to help you navigate. If a control is unnamed, instructions are unclear or a message is not announced, include the page and the tool you use in your report, if you know them.
Find care without using a map
Professional search also provides a list of profiles. You can read service and country information and open profiles from the list. Ask the team for help if the available options are difficult to navigate or compare.
Communication and care
You can ask about written explanations, an accessible document, help using the booking process or a preferred way to communicate. Explain the support you need rather than sharing your full medical history in an enquiry.
For an appointment, contact the team before booking where possible. They can discuss your needs with the provider and explain the available arrangements. An enquiry does not confirm that a particular adjustment or service is available.
A relative, carer or sponsor can help describe a communication need. Permission to act for the patient and access their clinical information is handled separately.
Discuss appointment supportWhere you may need extra help
Some steps involve a provider, document or external service. If something is difficult to use, tell us where you got stuck so the team can review the next step with you.
Calls and appointment arrangements
Captioning, interpretation and communication arrangements depend on the service. Tell the team what you need before booking so the options can be discussed with the provider.
Documents and provider content
Uploaded letters, reports and other provider documents can have different formats. If a document is difficult to read with your setup, identify it by its reference and ask about an accessible alternative.
Other services and external pages
Payment, scheduling and partner services may open a different website or interface. If a step blocks you, contact support with the service reference and what you were trying to do. Do not send passwords or card details.
Our approach and assessment status
Our aim is to make Medocta easier to use for people with different access needs. WCAG 2.2 Level AA provides a reference for improvements to navigation, reading, forms and interaction.
A completed assessment establishing full-site conformance is not available. We cannot yet confirm that every page, document or service works with every assistive technology. Reports from users help identify barriers that need review.
This statement covers the Medocta website and its service journeys. Partner websites and provider documents may have separate accessibility information. The revision date records an update to this statement, rather than the completion of an accessibility audit.
Read the WCAG 2.2 guidelinesReport a barrier or request support
Include the page address or service reference, what you were trying to do and what happened. If you know your browser, device or assistive technology, include that too. Tell us the format or communication method you prefer.
You do not need to provide a diagnosis to report a website barrier. Describe your needs first; the team can explain any information required to arrange support. For an existing enquiry, continue the same conversation and quote its reference.
