Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based therapeutic support.
About the role
Deliver psychological assessment and appropriate evidence-based interventions through secure digital consultations. Agree realistic therapeutic goals and work with other professionals when patients need additional or specialist support.
What you’ll do
- Assess psychological needs, suitability for remote therapy and relevant risk factors.
- Agree collaborative treatment goals and deliver interventions within your training.
- Review progress and adapt therapeutic plans using appropriate outcome measures.
- Recognise safeguarding or crisis concerns and follow agreed escalation pathways.
- Coordinate with other clinicians with appropriate patient consent.
- Maintain confidential records and participate in supervision and clinical quality review.
What you’ll bring
- Recognised clinical psychology qualification and current registration or authorisation where required.
- Relevant experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Competence in risk assessment, safeguarding and referral.
- Ability to deliver empathetic, culturally responsive care remotely.
- Commitment to professional supervision, confidentiality and continuing development.
Helpful additional experience
- Experience in digital therapy or integrated primary care.
- Interest in supporting people living with long-term physical health conditions.
Working arrangements
Medocta is preparing for launch and developing its multidisciplinary clinical services. Digital consultations and follow-up are central to our approach. The country of practice, remote or in-person requirements, hours, engagement type, start date and remuneration will be discussed during recruitment and confirmed before appointment.
